What We Believe
person...
strife...
mission...
passion...
hope...
Our founder went on to say, "I believe the human condition is made up of three primary parts, we refer to them as the mind, the body and the soul. Each are uniquely different, but require each other to work as one. The mind directs the body, the body is the guardian of the soul, and the soul governs the mind to action. When any one of those parts are compromised, the others are compromised too! Therefore, the three are as one. It is what makes up the human condition, it is what we call a "Human Being".
When a person has been compromised either mentally, physically or spiritually, they are unable to effectively lead a productive life; some find it difficult to provide for themselves without ongoing assistance from others. Without intervention and complete restoration, of the Mind, Body and Soul, most will fall into a “Cycle of Poverty” that often remains unchanged for generations."
Since our founder first stated these words, we at Nehemiah’s Restoration have lived by the mission to restore the human condition of the “Mind, Body and Soul”; of the mentally, physically and spiritually broken people of our world and we are dedicated to doing this by providing mental, medical/physical and spiritual assistance to the victims of life-altering events.
Over the years, it has been our passion to take this missional philosophy by focusing our assistance on the multitudes of orphaned and vulnerable children in western Kenya, who have been left in the social-economic fallout from the complications HIV and AIDS has left in its wake. Our goal is to assist by providing a safe and secure family environment for these orphaned and vulnerable children in their formative years, so that they can grow up to be healthy, well educated, and productive adults, who provide for their families and are capable of giving back to their community in their adult years. Thus providing a path to break Generational Poverty in their life-time.
